Based on information from phonescoop, RIM has revealed the details of the newest version of the BlackBerry App World, the application dubbed App World 2.0. The App World 2.0 is said to have features such as carrier billing that allows you to bill directly to your carrier account. The App World 2.0 still gives you the option to pay using your Paypal account or credit card.
Other enhancements include improved search for more relevant results, BlackBerry ID, the will allow user to create a master account that they can then transfer from device to device and carrier to carrier, hence help to manage their BlackBerry account. In conjunction with BlackBerry ID is QR barcode support, which will allow developers to put QR barcodes on advertisements or other areas where users can scan the code, which will link their device directly to the application in question.
