RIM announces Blackberry Pearl 3G

RIM has announced the arrival of the new BlackBerry Pearl 3G. The new pearl 9100/9105 or pearl 2 has 3G capabilities and comes with a sleek design, looking almost like a mini bold II.

Features include a 256MB flash memory with a microSD/SDHC card slot, a 624Mhz processor and runs the new BlackBerry OS 5. 360 x 400 display, optical trackpad, built-in GPS with BlackBerry Maps, a 3.2 megapixel camera with auto focus, Flash and video recording capabilities.

Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity, access to BlackBerry App World and support for tri-band UMTS/HSDPA and quad-band GSM/EDGE networks.
