Buddy Guard is a new and innovative application for blackberries that helps to keep your data secure and even assists in locating a lost or stolen device.
If your blackberry has been misplaced,Buddy Guard will allow you to remotely wipe or lock your device via pre-programmed commands, thereby deleting sensitive information stored on your device. Buddy guard also has a feature that will aid in locating a misplaced device by playing a tone.
Buddy Guard Features
* Wipe: Remotely wipes your personal data from your BlackBerry. Removes contacts, email and phone log data to prevent unauthorized persons from accessing it.
* Alert: Assists in finding a misplaced phone by playing a tone, even if the phone is in silent or vibrate-only mode. * Lock: Instructs your BlackBerry to lock itself to prevent unauthorized access. Protects your data without deleting it.
* List: Emails a full listing of the data that would be removed by the Wipe command. Allows you to test and
verify what a Wipe will do without actually deleting your data.
* Help: Remotely receive a listing of the available commands. Useful when you’ve forgotten the set of supported commands.
